Casa Loma
Casa Loma is a massive urban castle was built circa 1910. The sandstone, limestone and “Roman Stone” façade was highly deteriorated. Taylor Hazell Architects Ltd. was hired to embark on a 10 year restoration plan of the buildings walls, roofs, and windows. Working for Taylor Hazell Architects Ltd., I was involved in measuring and documenting the existing building as well as detailing and drafting the repair scope. It was an amazing experience to get to help to restore one of Toronto’s and Canada’s preeminent landmarks.
