RC Harris
RC Harris Water Filtration plant
This National Historic Site is an emblem of early modernism in Canada. This building is the source of 45% of the City of Toronto’s water and is renowned for its engineering as well as its architectural monumentality. The buildings envelope including cooper roof, skylights, and masonry façade required major conservation effort. Working for Taylor Hazell Architects Ltd., I helped to preserve this Art Deco site by assisting in documenting detailing and drafting the masonry repair scope.
